BIGGER and busier was the post-show verdict as the final pieces of kit left the site at Ingliston Showground at the end of ScotPlant 2012.
With a raft of equipment being seen for the first time in the UK, buyers from Shetland to the south of England, from the Hebrides to Ireland, were out in force and throughout the two-day event reports came in of deals done, demos to be arranged and inquiries to be followed up in the coming weeks.

Visitor figures were up 10% over 2010 and exhibitors were enthusiastic about the quality of visitors. "There were plenty of serious buyers," noted one.
