ScotPlant will be held on Friday 25 & Saturday 26 April 2008. This time of year has proved more popular with visitors as attendance figures were up by 50% on previous shows, with over 3,700 visitors coming through the gates over the two days. These figures also indicate that ScotPlant is now regarded as THE Plant and Construction Equipment Show for Scotland and once again we look forward to welcoming many visitors from the North of England and both Northern and Southern Ireland. ScotPlant 2008 offers exhibitors the opportunity to speak to buyers during the key buying season with the added benefit of occupying pole position in the outdoor events schedule for the industry.

Opening times: The show will be open from 9am on both days to ensure that visitors have the option to come along BEFORE they get caught up in their day to day business activities. The Exhibition will close at 5pm on Friday, and 4pm on Saturday.

The Pavilion: A pavilion area is being added to the ScotPlant exhibition for the second time. A dedicated area - created in response to demand from exhibitors - will allow smaller, specialist suppliers and manufacturers to exhibit at ScotPlant. They will include companies from the recycling, waste management and parts sectors who will complement the activities of exhibitors in the main outdoor area. ScotPlant sales manager Terry Smith says: “We expect other exhibitors in the pavilion to range from IT and financial services companies through to training, trade organisations and Government bodies. “We are confident that many of the exhibitors will be there to advise and raise awareness of the legislative requirements which are now so important to the construction industry.”
